about us

As Rhode Island's first and only hygiene hub, Amenity Aid strives to improve the health, social, emotional, and economic outcomes of Rhode Islanders by providing access to essential products

Serving all of Rhode Island, we distribute toiletry necessities through our network of direct service agencies, similar to the way the food bank distributes food.

Distributing hygiene products to our network of direct service agencies that assist vulnerable populations

Amenity Aid is the only hygiene hub of its kind in Rhode Island.

Supporting more than basic human needs, our products provide comfort and relief

Our story

Amenity Aid was founded by Liz Duggan in 2013. As a business traveler, Liz donated hotel amenities to shelters and discovered the high demand for hygiene supplies. She founded Amenity Aid and created a one-of-kind solution to ensure those in need have access to basic toiletries.

Our identity

Our name can be broken into two parts. “Amenity” was selected as a nod to the hotel amenities that led Liz to discover the need for toiletry products in her community. While “aid” was chosen to represent the organization as a nonprofit. Our logo, designed by Liz, consists of two hygiene bottles connected by a heart to represent that our products care for both the physical and emotional needs of the individuals who receive them.
Every day our neighbors choose between food and vital hygiene products. But you can help! Make a donation right now and we will purchase and deliver toiletries to those who need them the most.
